Psychotherapy

Together we cultivate a safe space in which the obstructions that have clouded your sense of well-being begin to fall away, and the pathways to recovering and expressing your healthiest Self become the foundation of your daily practice.

Tanya brings together the tools of psychodynamic, cognitive, somatic, expressive arts, attachment, addictions & trauma theory and practice with the holistic wisdom tradition of therapeutic Yoga to support you in:

  • Stabilizing your mood by creating practices that build a steadier foundation of calm strength & compassion.
  • Soothing & directing the energy and wisdom of powerful emotions in the service of your growth and the care of your loved ones.
  • Strengthening a secure base of healthy attachments to self, loved ones & a power greater than yourself.
  • Enhancing executive functioning - skills which include organization, focus, time management, delayed gratification, impulse control & problem solving.
  • Integrating traumatic events while cultivating a greater sense of safety, trust and wise discrimination.
  • Honoring and integrating grief and loss in order to reenter the fullness of life as it offers itself up for your delight.
  • Replacing addictions with healthy self-soothing & the  capacity to connect with & celebrate the joys and sorrows of life sober.
  • Developing relational skills that deepen healthy intimacy, vulnerability and interdependence.
  • Navigating powerful life transitions with greater ease & confidence.
  • Alleviating somatic distress with practices that welcome you home to the wisdom and strength of your body/mind.
  • Clarifying your unique sexuality, gender & relationship structures and harnessing this lifeforce energy for the sacred purpose of conscious union & creativity.
  • Identifying & following your purposeful path with greater integrity, joy, focus & creativity.
