Partner Yoga & Thai Massage Retreat
$108 plus lodging
June 8 - 10, 2012

Expand your capacity to touch the universe deeply,
surrendering to loving kindness and compassion
through the practices of partner yoga and
Thai yoga massage.

Description:
"The first thing is having the experience of touch, of profound contact with things, with the universe, without mental commotion. Everything begins there: touching the universe deeply. When you touch deeply, you no longer need to let go. That occurs naturally." ~Daniel Oldier

Join me and Michelle Tupko, Registered Thai Therapist and faculty member at the Chicago School of Thai Massage, for a spacious retreat expanding our capacity to touch and be touched deeply. Dynamic partner yoga postures, breath regulation and meditation offer an opportunity to explore Hatha yoga while cultivating closeness and subtle communication with another. Thai yoga massage offers an opportunity to continue this conversation through giving and receiving touch grounded in the breath and supported by compassion and loving kindness. Both practices warm and stretch muscles, release emotional tension, while increasing the flow of life force energy, opening practitioners to receiving the gifts of all that is. We will take this exploration off the mat and into the spectacular hiking trails and water sources on the land of Song of the Morning. All singles and diads welcome - friends, family members & couples.

***Thai Yoga Massage and Partner Yoga are practiced close to the earth. Come prepared to sit, kneel, lunge and lay on your back and belly.***

"How did the Rose ever open its heart and give to this world all its beauty? It felt the encouragement of light against its Being.”  ~Hafiz

Join me and psychotherapist & Reiki master, Erin Stohl, for a spacious weekend of deepening our embrace of the sacred Feminine within ourselves, each other and the spectacular land of Song of the Morning.  We will open the gateway to a safe and loving container that calls us home to our innate wellness through the transformative practices of yoga: contemplative postures, breath work, sound healing, mediation, yoga nidra and self-inquiry. As false layers of contracted energy are released, the glow of self-love expands and our circle of connection to one another blossoms.  We will take these practices off the mat and into the breathtaking hiking trails of Song of the Morning, receiving what is revealed to us through the presence of the four-leggeds, winged ones, trees, blossoms, water ways, sky, wind and sun - Earth Mother's embrace.  On Saturday evening a community celebration will unfold, honoring and celebrating our collective strength and beauty through contemplative dance.

All levels of experience are welcome.  We will be highly active and interactive throughout this retreat so arrive prepared to move and be moved!
